IEATC-Africa is an African-led, internationally connected and technology-driven electoral advisory and implementation consortium established to bring together specialised African and international expertise, electoral technology providers, systems integrators, manufacturers, logistics partners, election-management professionals and strategic advisers under a single, coordinated platform.

The Consortium operates under Tropical Silk Limited, which provides the institutional and commercial framework for its engagements. This approach enables electoral institutions to access a broad range of international capabilities while benefiting from strong African coordination, local understanding, regional networks and responsive project management.

Profile of the team

IEATC-Africa brings together highly regarded professionals with extensive experience in managing elections and establishing electoral systems and structures in various African countries, including Kenya, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana and Malawi, among others. Personnel possess practical expertise in electoral planning, voter registration, biometric systems, election technology, results management, logistics, procurement, training, systems integration and institutional support.

The conduct of credible elections ultimately rests with the constitutional mandate and institutional authority of the national electoral bodies and Commission. IEATC-Africa does not seek to substitute itself for the Commission. Rather, our objective is to support electoral bodies with the expertise, technology, procurement capacity and international partnerships required to strengthen their ability to fulfil their mandate within a limited time, ultimately saving time and money.
